Measure Guide For inside mounting, you'll need at least 2 inches of window frame depth. The width of the window blinds should be 1/2 inch less than the window, and the height should be 2 inches longer. For exterior installation, we recommend adding approximately 4 inches to both the width and height for better window coverage.
